System-x (xseries) 235 uses Intel® XeonT processors, providing you
with power and performance at an affordable price. Offering
a pathway for future growth, the x235 provides superior expandability
with up to 12GB of DDR memory, internal storage capability
up to 1.3TB and six available PCI slots. Integrated Gigabit
Ethernet provides high-speed networking bandwidth while keeping
all slots free for other adapters.
The
x235 is the first to deliver leading Ultra320 HDD performance
with affordable data protection and server availability. The
System-x (xseries) 235 delivers integrated Ultra320 RAID-1 functionality,
which provides the ability to mirror hard disk drives for
data protection and even higher server availability. X-Architecture
features like Chipkill memory, Active PCI-X technology and
hot-swap cooling/power keep your server available when you
need it. For flexibility to meet your custom space needs,
the x235 offers a tower-to-rack conversion kit.
